We always need new volunteers! Becoming a docent at Davies Manor can be a fun and rewarding experience. We provide a guidebook and other materials about the Davies family, the historic home, enslaved people who lived at Davies Plantation, and the different time periods we interpret. We will partner you with an experienced docent until you decide you are ready. Once trained, you can commit as much or as little time as you like. Many of our docents take a single shift in the Manor House each month or every other month. Training can be started at any time. If you think you would be interested in sharing history with our visitors, email us or reach out by phone.
